The Student Cafeteria in the niewly erected building needed a Shade to protect from the sun and the elements of the weather.

A light metal construction was designed with columns of reduced thickness at the top.

The strong dramatic lines of the building are complimented by the inclined cantilever which also poses a welcoming gesture to the cafeteria and the northern entrance of the building.

The Shade is transparent, showing its structure and its load bearing function.
